The Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors’ National Association (SMACNA) is an international trade association representing 3,500 signatory contracting firms with more than 100 chapters throughout the United States, Canada, Australia, and Brazil. SMACNA contractors use sheet metal and other materials to fabricate and build HVAC systems, architectural designs, and industrial structures for commercial, residential and industrial clients.
Indoor air quality has become an area of focus due to the pandemic. Many of our members, particularly our testing and air balancing firms, or TAB contractors, offer services to examine existing systems, share data on their performance and some members even help develop a plan to optimize the system to meet a customer’s needs or requirements.
